ABOUT THE TEA:
We love collaborating with like minded individuals. It allows both sides to get creative and push the boundaries even further. And this Cacao, Cascara & Rose Tisane is the prime example of just that.

We use what we call cacao husk to bring a chocolatey aroma and flavour to this tea. The husk (or shell) of the cacao seed is typically discarded as it is not used in the chocolate making process. 

The cascara is the dried fruit from the coffee cherry. Since coffee uses only the seed, the fruit itself is typically discarded. Once again, its packed with flavour - reminding us of cherries and honey.

Dried rose is added for its delicate floral properties and it complements both the cacao husk and coffee cascara. You'll see what we mean once you crack open the lid of the tea tin itself!

STEEPING INSTRUCTIONS:
Mix 1 tsp with 12oz of hot water (just off boil) and let steep for 6 minutes. This tea benefits from a longer steep time and can be enjoyed with the loose leaf steeping longer as you sip.

    • We chose to use a tin for this tea. Its easily recyclable and can be reused.

Unusual Tea ✨✨✨✨✨

When I bought this tea, I was wondering if it was a mistake. However, I’m enjoying it - lovely combination of flavours for a chilly fall afternoon, though I think I’d enjoy it all year round. I’ll definitely buy it again, along with their chocolate bars and cocoa.

On paper it sounded interesting and delicious, but in reality it unfortunately doesn’t taste much. You have to use a lot and let it infuse for quite a while before it taste something.

Subtle and delicious Five Stars all the way.

This was delicious. I tasted it first in tea bags from MamaEarth and loved it. I was not careful in ordering and was surprised that I received loose leaf, however, even more delicious. I was a little disappointed that the tin was not sealed though, especially since one was a gift.
