When you bite into the bar itself, the lavender is balanced by the chocolate. It is creamy, slightly sweet, and delicious. The finish is long, leaving you with a hint of lavender on your tongue.

The perfect lavender chocolate

I agree with the other review, usually lavender bars taste like soap to me, but this one really strickes the right balance, it's delicious!

Subtle flavour

I found the Lavender 55% to be enjoyable, but more for the dark milk chocolate base. The lavender in my sample was verrrrry subtle, almost unnoticeable.

Exactly the right amount

Most lavender-flavoured things have so much lavender that they taste like soap. This chocolate has THE PERFECT AMOUNT! It's enough to have some of that lavender flavour without taking away from the delicious chocolate. It's the perfect amount of each.
